Agnetha Fältskog – Eyes Of A Woman

Back in the heady days of 1985, I designed this cover for a solo album for Agnetha Fältskog – you know, the beautiful blonde lady from ABBA. The album was called Eyes of a Woman and was produced by Eric Stewart of 10cc. She’d had some great photographs taken by fashion photographer Tony McGee, all based around her compelling eyes. I designed her album cover based on my experience a long time before when, for a few years, I had designed perfume packaging for Givenchy and Rochas. The embossed AF logo on her album cover (just visible top left) and the silk textured left panel reflected the style of cosmetic graphics and she had that LOOK, long before the Princess of Wales put it to such good use.

I also designed this single (below) from the album which, all these years later I still think is such a gorgeous picture of her.
